Memorial Olive – Olive Museum of Vouvo

The Vouvo Olive Museum is located in the settlement of Ano Vouves in the Municipality of Platanias, next to the Vouvo Memorial Olive Tree. It was founded in 2009, when it was inaugurated by the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomeus, during the Municipality of Kolymvari, with mayor Mr. Polychroni Polychronidis.
It is housed in a traditional building of the 1800s, which preserves all the characteristic elements of a modest, but authentic, intelligent and functional, popular architecture of an olive-producing region par excellence in the hinterland of the municipality of Platanias.
